Antenna and transmission line installation
Whether you are adding a new antenna or replacing an old antenna no job is to small or to large for us to handle. We have installed antennas weighing a few hundred pounds to over 10 tons either on a single tower top configuration or on the top of a candelabra tower. We have equipment in our inventory that can work on towers from a few hundred feet to the tallest structures in the country up over 2000’.
Antenna and transmission line removal
Now that the DTV transition is complete we can remove your old analogue antenna and transmission line so you can relieve your tower of the capacity or move your new DTV antenna to the top position. We can work with your structural engineering firm to make sure we adjust the tower to accommodate the removal of the antenna and line.
Antenna refurbishing
We have rebuilt over 100 VHF batwing, panel or superturnstyle antenna systems. We have rebuilt these while they were still on the tower. We have resources available to us that can provide original equipment parts to rebuild or repair your VHF antenna system. We offer a 1 year warranty on all of our rebuilds which include parts and labor. There is no one else in the world that has rebuilt successfully as many antennas as we have at Precision Communications.
We also have the capabilities of rebuilding your transmission line whether you are replacing inners or need to replace o-rings and hardware we can do the job efficiently and on time.
